Owner and Designer - Jessica King is a 27 year old entreprenuer, however that is just one of many titles. Creativity has always been her passion/obsession. She was a published writer by the age of 11. Poetry being the first creative outlet to find her. During her high school education she would come to take every art class, graphic design as well as photography class offered. After her graduation in 2000 she decided to travel around the US. She found herself traveling around Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, California, Texas, as well as Mexico. These travels were very inspiring and would later influence her future projects. In the fall of 2006 she moved from Austin TX to Vincennes IN to re-attend Vincennes University as a Fine Arts Costume Construction Major. She quickly found herself consumed in everything theatre as well as performing arts for the next two years. Jessica would also be the theatre manager's assistant at the Red Skelton Theatre. This hands on experience was truely priceless. It was in the October of 2008 that she started making custom handmade artisan jewelry. After the intial success she decided to make this her fulltime career. Jessica has always had an entreprenueral spirit and loves being her own boss. With extremely hard work her brand is ever expanding. In late fall of 2009 she hopes to introduce her own one of kind clothing line named Voodoo Child as well as a exclusively offer organic cosmetic Solstice Scents created by a friend in Florida. Her projects and interests do not stop there. Jessica is very much into philanthropy. A portion of the profits from many of her products will actually go towards a speacial foundation she's starting named "A Better Chance." A Better Chance Foundation's first goal is to let is presence be known in the community of Vincennes. She hopes to start a girls mentoring group for ages 13 and up. She wants to see young women make good decisions that impact their future and become strong as well as independent leaders of tomorrow.
